This page is dedicated to the animation support for this plug-in A few weeks ago my proposal to implement animation support in this Collada plug-in for the Dutch version of "Summer of Code", www.programmeerzomer.nl (Dutch) was accepted! Now it's time to do the job and make a lot of people happy. To realize this major improvement, I would like to make a collection of different Blender files, each with more advanced animation. This way, I can start with the very basics and write the necessary code for it. Next to the animation function implemented, as demonstrated by the .blend files below, I will keep track of the version of the Collada plug-in in which it's implemented. That's why I need your help! If you have suggestions for the plug-in please e-mail your .blend files (Blender 2.42 is preferred) to me so I can add them to the list below. On the forum there is a discussion about the most important features, so please give your opinion. Also use the bugtracker for any bugs! If you use Maya, 3D Max, etc maybe you can create Collada files for me? - Pieter |
